Use cases

Built for changing workloads

Where Tedra's public cloud fits best.

Traffic spikes

Scale up during campaigns, sales or events and scale down when demand passes.

Development environments

Spin up test environments identical to production and remove them when done.

Web applications

Host sites and APIs with networking, balancing and storage ready to grow.

Big data and analytics

Spin up processing clusters to analyse large volumes and shut them down when finished.

Public cloud integrated into a multicloud strategy with Tedra's connectivity platform (TCCP): public and private cloud, regions and clients
Need more than one cloud?

Your public cloud, part of a multicloud strategy

Tedra's public cloud doesn't live in isolation: it integrates with your private cloud, your on-premise and other providers in a multicloud strategy, with unified networking and management. Combine the best of each platform without giving up control.

Data sovereignty

Your data in Spain, under your control

It's not a technical detail: it's who governs your information. With Tedra, your data resides in our data centers in Spain, under Spanish and European law, with no transfers to third countries or access by foreign authorities.

Data hosted in Spain

In our data centers in León, Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao. It never leaves the country unless you decide so.

European law only

Subject to GDPR and Spanish law, beyond the reach of foreign regulations like the US CLOUD Act.

No hidden transfers

We don't replicate your data to third-country regions, as the large hyperscalers do.

Certified compliance

ENS High and ISO 27001 verify we protect your information as the public sector requires.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What technology powers Tedra's public cloud?

OpenStack, the reference open standard. This avoids lock-in: you can use tools like Terraform or the OpenStack CLI unchanged.

Where is my data hosted?

In Tedra's own data centers in Spain, under EU law and with ENS High certification.

Is there a cost to retrieve my data?

No. Unlike the large hyperscalers, we do not charge for egress traffic.

How is the security of my data protected?

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, continuous monitoring and security configurations tailored to each client.

Does it include S3 storage and Kubernetes?

Yes. The same platform offers S3-compatible object storage (Ceph) and managed Kubernetes (TKP), integrated and pay-as-you-go.

Can I combine it with private cloud?

Yes. Many clients run a hybrid model; see our Multicloud page.
