Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a senior developer with autonomy and a focus on quality to join our development team, mentor junior profiles and drive best practices in a demanding, fast-growing technical environment. What you'll do day to day

  • Mentor and support junior developers in their technical and professional growth.
  • Take part in requirements gathering and the planning of internal and client developments.
  • Build new features applying TDD, Peer Review and architecture principles.
  • Contribute to project decisions to safeguard deadlines and service levels.
  • Work with the Team Leader on the continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Produce and report development documentation.

You'd be the ideal fit if you have…

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Solid experience of at least 5 years with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience in microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, Hibernate) and web services (SOAP, REST).
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and GIT/SVN.
  • Experience designing unit, integration and acceptance tests.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • English at C1 level.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Angular, Python or PHP.
  • Experience as a developer with CI/CD.
  • Experience developing for cloud architectures.
  • Agile methodologies and DevOps.
  • Team management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA/YouTrack.
